This six-day online reset introduces gentle approaches to managing pain from the Feldenkrais Method, Alexander Technique, somatics, breathwork, and nervous system regulation. Pain often consumes our focus and prevents us from perceiving much beyond it. But if we start to broaden our attention to involve more of ourselves (not just what hurts) and our breath, we can calm our systems and access other possibilities. In this process we learn to orient towards whatever brings us safety, pleasure, or ease, and discover how this automatically works as a counterweight to the pain we carry.
Each day, you will be guided through a short and sweet practice. Through a combination of direct and indirect approaches to pain management, you will learn to acknowledge, release, and prevent pain, stress, and tension. Practices are 20–30 minutes in length, and designed to integrate into your everyday life.
This programme is suitable for anyone aged 16+. Beginners and experienced practitioners anywhere in the world are welcome. Practices are offered in English. We encourage you to attend live, but will provide recordings to all registered participants.
Things to bring/keep handy:
- Mat/blanket
- Paperback books (1–2 inches high)
- Chair or stool
- Yoga block
Note: The practices offered are not substitutes for medical advice or intervention.
