Citations: Three Dances (2017)

A love letter. A commute. A city constructing itself. This evening of contemporary dance navigates the quirky and the overlooked, the exuberant and the meditative. Each unique piece reveals different surfaces and edges of bodies creating structures when nobody is watching, or when everybody is.

 

The show features Cartography by Poorna Swami, Pants Becoming Kites by Ellen Oliver in collaboration with Dayita Nereyeth, and Long time no see by Dayita Nereyeth and Poorna Swami.

 

Citations premiered on 15 December 2017 at Shoonya – Centre for Art and Somatic Practices in Bangalore and was performed again in 2018 at Meeraqi in Bangalore, and The Village Studio and Gallery Gitanjali in Goa.
